Permanent Rehab Registered Nurse

Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU). In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or acute pain. You will work closely with physicians, techs, and fellow nurses to monitor patients, educate families, and ensure a smooth transition home. Our supportive team environment and hands-on orientation make this an ideal opportunity for both experienced nurses and new graduates.

We offer flexible scheduling with part-time or full-time night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), allowing you to enjoy weekends free for family or personal time. While the pay is not disclosed, we provide a competitive hourly rate and up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Benefit eligibility is available for both part-time and full-time positions.

Requirements include a current Iowa RN license (or compact state) and BLS certification. Previous acute care or inpatient rehab experience is preferred but not required.
