Description
Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego is seeking a dedicated Permanent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory Therapy team. In this role, you will provide assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic interventions for the cardiopulmonary system in both children and adults. You will select and administer appropriate care based on patient age and development, fostering a caring relationship that promotes health and healing.
This is a full-time, permanent position with night shifts. The pay averages $54 per hour, with a salary range of $44.52 to $61.95 per hour based on experience and collective bargaining agreement terms. You will work in a dynamic hospital setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality respiratory care.
Minimum qualifications include an Associate's Degree (or diploma from an NBRC-certified program if hired before 10/1/2013), 1 year of experience, and current certifications: BLS for Health Providers (AHA), PALS (AHA), NRP Advanced Provider (AAP), and RRT credential (CRT accepted if hired before 10/1/2013). Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, 3 years of experience, bilingual skills, and advanced credentials. New RT II hires must obtain PALS and NRP within 3 months. Must be able to handle patients with airborne diseases and comply with infection control standards.
