Permanent RRT

Mercy in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Permanent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. In this role, you will provide bedside respiratory care to patients based on physician orders, supporting both in-house and outpatient care. You'll perform a variety of respiratory therapy modalities, including noninvasive cardiology procedures like EKGs, oximetry spot checks, and sleep studies. Additionally, you'll handle ABG sticks using the I-Stat machine and communicate results to nursing staff or physicians.

This position offers day/evening shifts with some weekends required. While pay is not disclosed, Mercy is a community-based organization with over 120 years of service in the Cedar Rapids area. Candidates must be current students in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and hold BCLS certification. Previous experience as an allied health professional is preferred.
