Description
Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is looking for a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in the heart of Alaska. As a full-time Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a strong patient-to-nurse ratio and shared leadership.
This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $40.08 to $64.13 based on experience, with an average of $52 per hour. You can choose between 5x8 or 3x12 hour shifts, with call required. Additional shift differentials are available for weekends, evenings, and nights. We also provide a $20,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires, up to $7,500 in relocation assistance, and 90 days of temporary housing.
Candidates must have national certification as an RDMS (or obtain within 12 months for new grads) and BLS certification. At least 1-2 years of clinical experience is preferred.
