Description
Sheppard Pratt School in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic nonpublic special education day school. We provide comprehensive year-round educational, therapeutic, and daily living services to students aged 12 to 21 with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and other health impairments. Our small but passionate team is committed to helping each student thrive.
In this role, you will identify, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, voice, fluency, hearing, and language disorders. You will provide individual and group therapy tailored to developmental needs, collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, and develop speech-language programs for staff development. Stay current with advances in speech pathology and special education techniques in a school-based setting.
This is a full-time, on-site staff position with an average annual pay of $96,237 (range $74,127 - $118,346). We offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 403b retirement match, generous paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and a mileage reimbursement program.
Requirements include a master's degree in speech pathology, Maryland licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, and at least six months of related experience (including internships or practicums).
