Description
Elliot Health System is excited to announce the opening of a new 12-bed Adult Stepdown Unit (ASDU) in Manchester, NH. This unit features private rooms with ceiling lifts and supply carts, combining ICU-level resources with a progressive care environment. The ASDU cares for acutely ill patients with moderately complex medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma, and psychiatric diagnoses, requiring close observation and telemetry monitoring. The standard nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3, ensuring focused, high-quality care.
This is a permanent, night shift position (7pm-7am) with weekend and holiday rotation. Pay is not disclosed, but a $15,000 sign-on bonus is available, paid in installments at 3, 6, and 12 months. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance starting the first of the month after hire, accrued earned time, a 403b with matching and discretionary contributions, tuition reimbursement up to $4,000 per year, and a nursing student loan paydown program up to $20,000.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred), a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (telemetry with dysrhythmia management preferred), current New Hampshire compact or multistate RN licensure, and BLS certification (obtained during orientation).
