Description
CentraCare in Willmar, MN is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join their team. In this role, you will provide processed instrumentation and equipment to support patient care, working closely with the Operating Rooms and GI Endoscopy Department. Your responsibilities include decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and redelivery of supplies.
This is a part-time position working 56 hours per two weeks with varied day shifts and on-call every 6th weekend. Pay is based on experience, starting at $18.02 per hour up to $24.56 per hour. Part-time benefits include medical, dental, PTO, retirement, and employee discounts.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED. Sterile Processing Technician training or certification is preferred but not required. Previous surgical aide or sterile processing experience is helpful. You must demonstrate ability to comprehend medical terminology and math, and have working knowledge of regulatory guidelines and infection control practices.
