Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit at St. Tammany Health System in Covington, Louisiana. In this role, you will coordinate clinical activities for medical/surgical patients, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will also supervise LPNs, unit assistants, and CNAs, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and the State Nurse Practice Act.
This is a permanent, full-time position with 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Pay ranges from $31 to $45 per hour based on experience. You must be able to work holidays and weekends as required.
Requirements include a current LA RN license, BLS certification (ILCOR-accepted), and excellent computer skills. ALS and basic EKG certification are encouraged, with EKG training available within 6 months of hire.
