Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit at St. Tammany Health System in Covington, Louisiana. In this role, you will coordinate clinical activities for medical/surgical patients, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will also supervise LPNs, Unit Assistants, and CNAs, working within the Louisiana Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
This is a permanent, full-time position with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Compensation is based on experience. You must be able to work holidays and weekends as required.
Requirements include a current Louisiana RN license, BLS certification from an ILCOR-approved course (including manikin check-off), and excellent computer skills. ALS and basic EKG certification are encouraged, with EKG certification expected within 6 months of hire.
