Permanent X-Ray Tech

Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is seeking a permanent X-Ray Tech to join our Radiology team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic radiographic examinations using fixed, portable, C-arm, and O-arm equipment across Radiology and additional locations including Fluoroscopy, Pain Clinic, and Diagnostic X-ray. You will also participate in a rotating OR call schedule to support surgical imaging needs. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 9am to 5:30pm.

External applicants are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000, plus a relocation bonus of $5,000 if residing 75+ miles from Mercy Medical Center. The pay rate is hourly, though the specific amount is not disclosed. You will work 40 hours per week on a day shift.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (1 year in surgical radiography preferred), an ARRT certificate, an Iowa State Permit to Practice Diagnostic Radiography, and current BLS certification. You must also complete Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse and Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training.
