Join our team as a Travel Correctional Registered Nurse at Albion Correctional Facility in Albion, New York. As a Registered Nurse 1, you will coordinate and deliver direct nursing care, conduct health assessments, and develop care plans. You will also provide clinical supervision and training to Graduate Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and direct care staff. Your responsibilities include diagnosing and treating health problems through nursing services such as case-finding, health teaching, and counseling. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary health care teams and participate in health-related committees.
Candidates must possess a current New York State license as a registered professional nurse. Note that you must clear a state-run Criminal History Form before starting, which can take up to 4 weeks.
