Description
We are seeking a skilled Travel EEG Technologist for a 13-week contract at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. In this role, you will prepare patients and perform Electroencephalograms (EEGs) as ordered by physicians, working with a comprehensive Neuroscience Center and partnering with Epileptologists. You'll obtain thorough patient histories, provide education and support, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate neurodiagnostic evaluations.
This position offers 8-hour day shifts from 7:30am to 4:30pm, with guaranteed hours of 16-24 per week. The average pay is $1,796 per week. You'll be part of a rotating call schedule covering Friday 4pm to Monday 7:30am every other weekend, with weekend and holiday work as needed. No float requirements.
Requirements include a current Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (REEGT) certification and AHA BLS. You must be a graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic or Polysomnographic program, with at least 6 months of experience as an EEG or Electrodiagnostic Technician. Epic charting experience is preferred. The start date is January 2027.
