Description
We are seeking a locum General Dentist to cover a maternity leave at a well-established practice in Effingham, Illinois. The assignment runs from January 5 to March 31, 2027, with a weekly schedule of Tuesday-Thursday 8:00-4:00 and Friday 8:00-2:00. You will be supported by a team of 18 staff members and treat both adult and cooperative pediatric patients using Dentrix EMR.
Procedures include fillings, crowns, bridges, full and partial dentures, root canals, simple and surgical extractions, Invisalign, hygiene checks, implant placement and restoration. Experience with Wave One Rotary system and Invisalign is preferred but not required. Complex cases can be referred out. Patient education and bedside manner are equally important as clinical skills.
Requirements include an active Illinois state license, BLS certification, and a new TB test (QGold) completed within three days of accepting an offer. DEA is preferred but not required. Credentialing takes about one week. The pay averages $113 per hour. All travel must be booked by Aya LocumX.
