Locum Midwife

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife for a locum tenens assignment in Bellingham, Washington. This role offers a blend of inpatient and outpatient OBGYN care, with an average pay of $760 per day. The position is available immediately and requires an active Washington license at the time of presentation.

You will work in a hospital setting with 10 labor beds and 14 postpartum beds, handling an average of 1-2 deliveries per 24 hours and 1-2 clinic patients daily. Responsibilities include vaginal deliveries, C-section assists, managing laboring patients, inductions, triaging L&D patients, FSE and IUPC placement, and repairing grade 1-2 perineal lacerations. You will work solo, supported by other providers as needed.

Requirements include certification as a Nurse Midwife, BLS (AHA or ARC), and documentation of obstetrics/gynecology services within the last 24 months. The assignment is expected to last 6 months, with EPIC as the EMR. Join our team and make a difference in Bellingham's community!
