Description
Rady Children's Hospital in sunny San Diego is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology team. In this advanced practice role, you will provide evidence-based care across three distinct units: the Inpatient Unit, the Outpatient Clinic, and the Proton Therapy Unit. As a CNS, you will serve as a clinical expert at the bedside, leading initiatives to improve patient outcomes and supporting our dedicated nursing staff.
This is a permanent, staff position with a pay range of $61.30 to $91.95 per hour (average $77/hr). Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree, 2 years of RN experience in specialty, current California RN and CNS licenses, BLS from AHA, and APHON certification. We will consider candidates graduating from a CNS program within 6 months with 2 years of specialty RN experience. Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate, 5 years of experience, and prior CNS experience in pediatric hematology/oncology.
