Permanent Director of Psychology

Join the University of New Mexico Hospital as the Director of Psychology for the UPC Inpatient Adult Services. In this leadership role, you will direct and coordinate clinical and management activities to ensure quality patient care across neonate to geriatric populations. You'll support education and research alongside the Unit Medical Director, develop budgets, and foster a culture aligned with behavioral excellence.

This full-time position offers a day shift schedule and a competitive pay range of $53.29 to $82.51 per hour. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. You'll oversee supervisory, technical, and support staff, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and patient safety protocols.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and an active RN license in New Mexico or compact state, plus 2 years of directly related experience. A Master's degree is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire. This role involves light physical work and potential exposure to hazardous materials.
