Description
Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager, Operations, for its high-acuity Emergency Department. As a Level 1 Trauma Center with 82 beds, the ED provides comprehensive care across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and trauma services. This role offers 24/7 leadership responsibility, overseeing clinical and operational functions to ensure exemplary patient care and regulatory compliance.
The position offers an average pay of $65 per hour and includes relocation assistance up to $10,000 for moves over 50 miles. The schedule is full-time, with leadership duties spanning day-to-day operations, staff development, and strategic planning. Candidates must have a BSN, at least 3 years of emergency nursing experience, and current RN licensure in North Carolina. A master's degree and prior nursing leadership experience are strongly preferred.
