Permanent PT Acute Care Hospital

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a permanent full-time position in our Rehab Services department at SRMC in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will organize and deliver medically-prescribed physical therapy to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part. Patient care assignments may include neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

This is a day shift position with a competitive average pay of $51 per hour. You will enjoy shift differentials for weekday nights, weekend nights, and weekend days. The role requires a New Mexico Physical Therapist License or Temporary License, and CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days. No minimum experience is required, though bilingual skills in English, Spanish, Keres, Tiwa, Tewa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo are a plus.

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop treatment goals, and implement therapy using physical means such as exercise, massage, heat, sound, water, light, and electricity. You will also educate patients and caregivers, supervise students and volunteers, and document patient care activities.
