Permanent PT Inpatient Rehab

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will organize and deliver medically-prescribed physical therapy to help patients restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part. You will work with a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, ensuring adherence to hospital and departmental policies.

This is a permanent, full-time staff position offering an average pay of $51 per hour. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy using physical means such as exercise, massage, heat, sound, water, light, and electricity. Additional duties include patient and caregiver education, supervision of therapy students and volunteers, and documentation of all patient care activities.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, current NM Physical Therapist License or temporary license, and CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days. Bilingual skills in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo are preferred but not required. This role involves heavy work, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
