Permanent PT Inpatient Rehab

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will organize and deliver medically-prescribed physical therapy to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part. You will work with a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups, ensuring adherence to hospital and departmental policies.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering an average pay of $51 per hour. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment goals, and implement therapy programs involving exercise, massage, heat, sound, water, light, and electricity. Responsibilities also include patient education, supervision of students and volunteers, and documentation of all care activities.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program, current NM Physical Therapist license or temporary license, and BLS certification within 30 days. No minimum experience is required, but bilingual skills in Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo are a plus. This role involves heavy physical work and moderate exposure to chemicals or dangerous equipment. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.
