Description
Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist in home health, serving patients in the Brooksville area and surrounding Lake & Sumter counties, including The Villages. In this role, you will deliver quality speech therapy services based on physician orders, conducting assessments, administering treatments, and developing care plans. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and positive patient outcomes.
This PRN position offers evaluation rates up to $102 per point, with an average pay of $67 per hour. Visits are needed weekly, providing flexibility while making a meaningful impact in patients' homes. You'll be responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality, effective communication, and serving as a resource for clinical staff.
Requirements include a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program, a current and unrestricted SLP license in Florida, and current CPR certification. One year of recent acute care experience is preferred. As a Medicare/Medicaid provider, compliance with health requirements, including vaccinations, is mandatory unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.
