Description
We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a locum tenens assignment in Temperance, Michigan, covering a maternity leave from September 1 to November 19, 2026. You will work Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a team huddle at 7:45 AM. The schedule includes 36 days of coverage, with an average pay of $113 per hour.
In this role, you will treat both adult and cooperative pediatric patients, performing procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, full and partial dentures, root canals, simple and surgical extractions, Invisalign, hygiene checks, implant placement, and implant restoration. Experience with Wave One Rotary system and Invisalign is preferred but not required. Complex cases can be referred out, and strong patient education and bedside manner are essential.
Requirements include a valid Michigan state license, BLS certification, and a new TB test (QGold) completed within three days of accepting the offer. Invisalign and Nitrous Oxide certifications are preferred. Credentialing takes approximately one week, and all travel must be booked through AYA LocumX. Join a supportive team of 13 staff members using Dentrix EMR.
