Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Hospital Systems Administrator to join our Radiology Administration team at Saint Peter's in New Brunswick, NJ. In this role, you will support and enhance healthcare imaging technologies, including PACS, RIS, and related clinical systems. You will coordinate infrastructure installation, upgrades, and support activities, and act as a liaison between IT teams and vendors like McKesson.
This is a permanent, staff position with an average pay of $113,267 per year. You will be responsible for monitoring system backups, performing system administration and management, and supporting applications throughout the hospital. The role requires a degree in Computer Science or certification from a certified computer school, plus at least five years of systems administration experience.
Key skills include strong experience with PACS, cardiology, and imaging workflows, healthcare IT experience supporting clinical applications, and hands-on experience with server installations and upgrades. You must be proficient with Microsoft products and have strong communication skills. The ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights if required is essential.
