Description
Join Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in our nationally recognized Level IV NICU. In this role, you will serve as a clinical leader, educator, and change agent, supporting both the main campus Level IV NICU and Level II/III satellite units. You'll collaborate with a passionate team to drive evidence-based innovation, mentor nursing staff, and ensure optimal outcomes for our most vulnerable newborns.
This full-time, day shift position offers an average pay of $81 per hour, with a hiring range of $64.37 to $96.55 based on experience. You'll lead quality improvement projects, integrate the latest research into bedside care, and facilitate ongoing education to elevate team performance.
Minimum qualifications include a Master's Degree in Nursing, 2+ years of RN experience (new grad CNSs encouraged to apply), a current California RN license, CNS certification, BLS, and NICU-specific national certification (RNC-NIC). Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate degree, 5+ years of NICU experience, and NRP certification.
