Description

Northern Arizona Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Medical Radiation Physicist to join our team in Flagstaff, Arizona. In this role, you will support both clinical and machine physics across our two Cancer Centers, contributing to the leadership and technical execution of our Radiation Oncology programs. You'll work under the direction of the Chief Medical Radiation Physicist, ensuring compliance with AAPM, ASTRO, and ACR standards.

This staff position offers an average pay of $99 per hour. Responsibilities include supporting brachytherapy programs (HDR and LDR), overseeing treatment planning, directing IMRT workflows, and participating in quality assurance initiatives. You'll also assist with SRS and SBRT programs, perform chart reviews, and collaborate with dosimetrists and therapists.

Requirements include a Master's degree in Medical Physics or related field, ABR certification or CAMPEP accreditation, an active Radioactive Materials License, and BLS certification within 90 days. At least two years of clinical experience or completion of a CAMPEP residency is required. Preferred experience includes HDR/LDR planning with Eclipse BrachyVision and VariSeed, ARIA system familiarity, and Varian linear accelerator QA.
