Permanent Nutrition Clerk

As a Nutrition Services Clerk at Encompass Health in Bangor, Maine, you will play a vital role in preparing therapeutic and modified diets for patients, as well as crafting meals for employees, visitors, and special functions. Your responsibilities include distributing and collecting menus, assisting patients with diet orders, processing menus, and updating patient records. You will visit patients to gather food preferences and allergies, document nutritional history, complete production sheets, and ensure meal accuracy. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a food handler's permit if required by state or county regulations. One year of experience as a Diet Clerk or Nutrition Services Clerk in an acute care facility is preferred.
