Permanent Nutrition Clerk

As a Nutrition Services Clerk at Encompass Health in Worcester, MA, you will play a vital role in preparing therapeutic and modified diets for patients, as well as crafting meals for employees, visitors, and special functions. This is a permanent, staff position with a pay rate averaging $20 per hour. You will be responsible for distributing and collecting menus, assisting patients with diet orders, processing menus, updating patient kardex, documenting nourishments, and visiting patients to gather food preferences and allergies. Additional duties include completing production sheets, checking tray lines for accuracy, and performing cleaning duties.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and a food handler's permit if required by state or county regulations. Minimum one year of experience as a Diet Clerk or Nutrition Services Clerk in an acute care facility is preferred.
