Permanent Nutrition Clerk

As a Nutrition Service Clerk at Encompass Health in Columbia, MO, you will play a vital role in preparing therapeutic and modified diets for patients, as well as meals for employees, visitors, and special functions. This position offers a pay range of $15.00 to $21.00 per hour, averaging $18/hr. You'll be part of a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation leader committed to providing exceptional care.

Your responsibilities include distributing and collecting menus, assisting patients with diet orders, processing menus, updating patient kardex with diet changes, and documenting nourishments. You will visit patients to gather food preferences and allergies, complete production sheets, check tray lines for accuracy, and perform cleaning duties. This role requires a food handler's permit if mandated by state or county regulations, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably one year of experience as a Diet Clerk in an acute care facility.
