Permanent Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at Encompass Health in Bangor, Maine. As the first point of contact for our hospital, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and callers, operating the switchboard and managing front desk reception. Your role is pivotal in ensuring effective communication and operational efficiency across departments.

This is a permanent, staff position with a pay range of $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (average $22/hr). Shifts may vary and include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and nights. You will answer incoming calls, greet visitors, assist with sign-in and badges, enter and scan deposits and charges, run census reports, and assist with admission and discharge entry.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, working knowledge of switchboard equipment, ability to use computer systems and complete data entry, and knowledge of 10-key data entry.
