Permanent Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at Encompass Health in Huntington, WV. As the first point of contact for our hospital, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and callers, operating the switchboard and managing front desk reception. Your role is pivotal in ensuring effective communication and operational efficiency across departments.

This is a permanent, staff position with a pay range of $13.00 to $23.37 per hour, averaging $18/hr. You will be responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, entering deposits and charges, running census reports, and assisting with admissions and discharges. Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and nights is required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, working knowledge of switchboard equipment, computer and data entry skills, and attention to detail.
