Description
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our primary care clinic in Excelsior Springs, MO. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience. You will manage check-in and check-out processes, schedule appointments, answer phone calls and emails, and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record system. You will also collect payments, assist patients with forms, and coordinate transportation when needed.
This is a permanent, staff position offering an average pay of $19 per hour. The schedule is typical of a medical office setting, and you will work closely with the clinical team and other departments. Responsibilities include maintaining office schedules, filing documents, and keeping the front desk organized. You may also provide coverage at other primary care locations as directed.
Requirements include a high school diploma with coursework in English, typing, and math. Previous reception experience and good typing skills are preferred. You should have basic computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology is helpful. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a professional appearance are essential. The ability to work under stress and as a self-starter is required.
