Description
Mercy in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Permanent Registered Radiology Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the central point of contact connecting radiologists, patients, providers, and technologists to facilitate the best possible care. You will use various technologies to share images with other healthcare organizations, assist providers with the radiology ordering process, and coordinate communication between central scheduling and imaging areas. This position supports Mercy's philosophy of patient-centered care by performing a wide range of services and skills while focusing on customer service.
This is a staff/permanent position with hourly pay. The schedule is not specified, but you will work in a dynamic environment where you can make a difference. Requirements include an Associate's Degree or equivalent medical experience, Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, and excellent customer service skills. Experience in a medical field or secretarial position, medical terminology, and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
