Description
We are seeking a Travel Accounting Analyst for a temp-to-perm position at Denbigh Professional Park in Newport News, VA. This role involves independent judgment and analytical skills in a highly computerized environment, with responsibilities including monthly preparation and analysis of estimated contractual adjustments, charity and bad debt, Medicare and Medicaid annual cost reports and settlements, annual budgeting, tax preparation, regulatory reporting, and cost analysis. You will continuously evaluate accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday day shift position with an average pay of $1,513 per week. The contract is temp-to-perm, and candidates must be willing to work 100% onsite. The pay range for permanent conversion is $49,712 - $65,000 per year.
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field with an accounting concentration, plus at least 1 year of accounting experience involving financial analysis, budgeting, and financial statements. Preferred qualifications include healthcare accounting experience and CPA certification. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
