Travel Medical Staff Coordinator

This role is for a Medical Staff Services Coordinator at Renown Regional and South Meadows Medical Centers in Reno, NV. You will support the medical staff by managing credentialing, privileging, and committee documentation, ensuring compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and state regulations. This is a travel/contract position with a schedule of 7:30 or 8am to 4 or 4:30pm PST, Monday through Friday, and no call requirements. The weekly pay averages $868 for 40 guaranteed hours.

Candidates must have experience with PAVE and at least 2 years in medical staff/managed care duties, or 5 years of progressive administrative experience. Knowledge of medical terminology is required, and CPCS or CPMSM certification is preferred. Training is provided by a team member, with potential schedule flexibility after training.

Key responsibilities include maintaining electronic files, coordinating meetings, and assisting with regulatory surveys. This position does not involve direct patient care but is critical to patient safety through credentialing oversight.
